BMJCA BY-LAWS
PREAMBLE
"This Association is
organized to protect and promote the welfare of the Butte Meadows
and Jonesville Community, to present a strong influence for the
common good of all members of the community, and to provide a parent
organization under which there can be organized other service
oriented groups which will function to serve the people of the
community with improved facilities to the betterment of all who
chose to reside in the community
area."
CHRISTMAS TREE PERMITS
The schedule for getting permits is as
attached:
NO PARKING ON
HUMBOLDT RD. DURING SNOW CONDITIONS (11-24-08)
Butte County Public
Works will be installing signs on Humboldt Rd. in the near
future--to advise that parking on Humboldt Road will not
be allowed during periods of snow.
GUARD RAIL
& SAND STATION UPDATE (11-24-08)
The
guard rail is slated to be installed beginning December
8th. We are hoping to see a sand station at Lomo for
the sanding of Humboldt Rd. during icy/snowy conditions. This
is a better alternative to having one in Butte Meadows as Cal Trans
keeps Hwy 32 cleared so the sand transport vehicle will be able to
get to Lomo--no certainty it could get to Butte Meadows. We
have asked to have Humboldt Road sanded to the green gate (Deacons
Row Road) particularly in the area between the upper fire
station and the creek. At it's October 22, 2008 meeting the
BMJCA Board authorized a $500 donation to the county as a show of
appreciation for working with us to provide safer roads for us
all.
